Established in Los Angeles, CA in 1982, by principal Jeffrey Tohl. The firm has produced numerous contemporary custom residential projects characterized by dynamic forms, use of rich materials, and abundant natural light. The Architecture Studio, Inc. has been widely published in books and publications including Architectural Record, Interior Design, Metropolitan Home, Los Angeles Magazine,  and the Los Angeles Times.

The Architecture Studio, Inc. and its members have also been involved in the design of creative spaces for large firms such as Nokia, Milliken Automotive, Microsoft, Virtu, World Savings, Hydraulx, and MarchFirst. The design of corporate projects involves developing a visual corporate brand, corporate design guidelines, workplace analysis and strategies, and dynamic interior architectural spaces.

Recent firm research and development projects include large-scale projects for Abraxis Pharmaceuticals Partners, Medical Diagnosis Laboratories, and American BioScience. Projects have ranged from the design of corporate headquarters to the development of specialty laboratory and cleanroom spaces.
